It is a sad state of affairs when we Christians have been duped by the devil into attacking each other over that which we should be in agreement – the complete veracity of the Bible. Satan knows that if we fight each other, we will be distracted from our real enemy who continues to work in the background. Jesus warned us:
...“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falls. Luke 11:17 (NKJV)
Sadly, one of the devil’s greatest con jobs of the last 500 years was the introduction of the anti-biblical heliocentric theory at approximately the same time as the Protestant Reformation was turning people back to the authority of God’s Word.
Despite the fact that the reformers resisted this satanic lie, it did not take very long for the idea to gain traction.

The devil knows how to play the “long game.” He spins his lies over generations, knowing that if a lie is repeated often enough, it will soon be regarded as truth. In short order, Sola Scriptura became Sola Scientia. We have betrayed our Reformation heritage.
Today, sadly, the theory of heliocentrism is regarded as an unassailable fact that has deceived Christians into believing that Genesis Chapter One must be reinterpreted to “fit the data,” instead of demanding that the Word of God be our highest arbiter of truth.
The devil has succeeded in convincing us once again to doubt the truthfulness of God’s written word in favor of the wisdom of men. Once again, we find the pursuit of hidden (occult) knowledge so enthralling that we cannot seem to resist.
I wrote an article on the occult origins of modern astrophysics, which you can access by clicking on this link.
Just as the early protestant reformers encountered deadly persecution from the established Roman Catholic Church, anyone who seeks to reform modern Christians’ view of the cosmos, bringing it into alignment with the testimony of Scripture, ironically will be attacked by other Christians. The devil doesn’t need to round up a bunch of atheists to do his dirty work. Duped believers in Christ will gladly volunteer, thinking they are defending the integrity of their witness before the world, while attacking the integrity of the Bible.
It is serious enough for those of us who claim to believe the Bible to deny the truthfulness of Genesis, but it is an even worse sin, in my opinion, to attack and ridicule those who do believe.
And yet that is where we often find ourselves today. It is a sad state of affairs.
